So listen up, my little fashion princes: there are many ways you can dress up this classic, stylish piece, in order to make sure it never gives off any boring vibes.

First of all, a (not so) simple cardigan can draw all the right attention to your to your white shirt. However, be a little daring with it, and choose cardigans with unexpected and surprising colors.

An aubergine/plum kind of shade like the one shown here is both masculine and whimsical, but bright blue shades, forest greens, and even pastels can work for you as well. Remember, if you have a dark complexion, you can get away with even brighter colors.

For bonus points, you should consider giving it a try. Remember, there are merits to every style, and at least one place where wearing a particular style is perfectly acceptable, even encouraged.

The same goes for the prevalent preppy style. One apparently must have piece for preppies the world over this summer and fall is, evidently, a baseball jacket. It is the height of Americana, and there is something wholesome and thus attractive about what it provokes.

This is the G10 Slimfit Sport Harrington Jacket, and it is available for about one hundred and thirty dollars at British born Baracuta.

Also in for the preppy passion this season are lightweight sweaters, such as cardigans and shawl necks. White is an acceptable color here. This article is appropriate for actually wearing or for casually looping over the shoulders.

So really, I have posted some crazy shirts in here but I never thought that I would be posting about deep v-neck anything for guys … girls? I can understand that as us girls definitely are looking to show off our goods most of the time, but do we honestly need guys walking around with plunging neckline shirts? Not exactly.

Now there are quite a few things that you can do if you are the type of guy that is looking to stay in style and purchase a few of these deep v-neck shirts. How about layering? We women do it all the time; we will wear something like in the picture above and pair it with a tee shirt. While that may not be the most stylish thing to do, at least your deep v-neck shirt will be in style!

So go on guys get on the internet and research a little bit and you will see that the plunging neckline is in for you. Whether you are showing off that ‘manly’ chest or you are looking to stay in style, go for the v-neck!

Striped sweaters are so coming back, and I’m loving it. I’m a thing guy, don’t get me wrong, I work out a little, but I’m slim. With my kind of figure, not only can I pull of striped sweaters without looking like a bloated pig — they actually make me look more muscular and strong. It’s a dream come true.

Now, V-necks are something else. A lot of people wear them with a simple t-shirt, but I try to combine them with a shirt (preferrable white on colors, black on gray/white). It adds a lot more class, and takes away the casual feel of the sweater a bit. Give it a try!

In the mean time, this photo should get you mouthwatering. £300 at Browns Fashion.

Rick Owens is a true designer. Let’s get that out of the way before we even look at the clothes — but let’s also keep that in mind. He’s a true designer, and he DESIGNS clothes. He’s not going to be making your everyday sweaters and shirts, but he is doing something called innovation — called creative fashion — called designing.

I’m not going to buy these pieces. I’m not going to consider buying these pieces. But they’re great in their own way, and they’re designed to the greatest details. The looks have just been upped on the Rick Owens website – so I suggest you check it out while you’re at it. Enjoy!

J. Lindeberg has done a fabulous job with loosely fitting clothes, and the use of sheer fabrics in men’s designs. The sheer shirt under the semi-sheer and very lightweight cardigan is a great look for spring. Add to that the very cool shoes, and the scarves on practically every design, and it made for a great runway show. The colors, whites, off-whites, and creams, as well as the darker hues, are a great look for spring and summer. I especially like the blue leather (or pleather?). The bright color is fabulous and the look is just plain sexy. The whole collection sort of gives you the Red Baron (you know the pilot) feeling.

I’m not really a baggy pants type of person. The shirts that dip low enough to show off some chest are great. Very sexy. This is a collection that men will love to wear, and women will love to see them wear. It’s a win/win situation for us all. The colors are great, too. No bright pinks or oddly collaborating colors. Overall, the Emporio Armani collection is great. And it really shows off the models’ tattoos.

Even if you don’t, this new line will have you wanting to. Lots of leather abounds in this one, from jackets to pants, and the pieces all look entirely comfortable, while still holding their class. The orange muscle shirt, although I wouldn’t have chosen it to wear to the office, still looks great with a suit. All these pieces are casual/dressy, and that sure can make for a great wardrobe.
