Now, with short hair on guys, there is one thing you can do that will make it completely versatile, so that, depending on your mood, the day, the occasion, et cetera, you can do whatever you want with it.

Layers.

Now, I know, it might seem like layers have no place on a guy’s head, they might seem like the girls’ domain, but that is not true at all.

Layers can do great things for your hair. For one thing, they can make your hair lie in a way that will flatter your head instead of going against it. Plus, with the addition of products, layers will allow you to choose from a lot of different looks.

In fact, you can get all the spikes and textures you want with a layered look. You can even go for the tousled, just don’t give a damn look, if you want!

It is a common misconception that guys are not at all concerned with their hair, but that is simply not true. The misconception holds especially true when a guy has short hair — it is assumed you do not do anything to it, and that is not true either.

Of course, there are a lot of times when you may not know exactly what to do with your short hair, but fortunately, we can take care of that quite easily.

There are a number of things you can do when you have short hair. You can spike it, you can pull a faux hawk or even a mohawk, you can go for a buzz cut — any and all of these styles, plus many more, are at your disposal.

A lot of men like spikes and texture. If so, hair products like polishers, waxes, pommade, and even straightening irons can be your best friends.

What many men do not realize when they look at their faces is that those dark circles under their eyes … are not attractive.  In fact, they usually make you look a lot older than you are and who wants to date someone who looks extremely old when they aren’t?  I wouldn’t!

The dark circles are actually broken blood vessels under the skin that are caused by many, many different things; however heredity is one of them.  Booze, cigarettes and finally caffeinated drinks are just a few things that can also cause them.

However, there are many different ways that you can kick these circles right out from under your eyes.  One is by using cream.  There are a ton of different creams that you can use right under your eyes that will truly help you get rid of them.  Also cucumbers are fantastic – ten minutes on your eyes and those circles will totally disappear in no time!

So you are a guy – what do you care what your skin looks like?  Well, if you are a guy that is trying to get a woman … or even another guy, you need to make sure that you take care of your skin.  Guys and gals alike want to be with someone that knows exactly how to groom themselves and when you leave yourself wide open like that, you are asking for it.  That is why I came up with a guide to men’s skin care and just how to care for that beautiful face that you have.

The first thing?  Shaving.  All men shave … most of the time and do you ever feel like your skin nicks easily or that you get those red and bumpy things after you shave?  Well, there are many things that you can do to prevent these bumps from happening; you just have to listen to me.  Firstly, you will find that the shaving portion will go much smoother if you use an aloe or glycerin based shaving cream or gel.

Not only will these products make shaving go awesome but they will actually help the razor just glide across your skin – always go with the grain first and then against it and always, soothe your skin with an aftershave that is not alcohol-based.  Also, moisturizing is a fantastic way to ensure your skin stays soft too – remember that.  More tips in the next blog!

Now, you might be tempted to think that you would never try this next outfit unless you get invited to Diddy’s next White Party or something similar — but c’mon, have an open mind!

There are times when it is okay to pair a white dress shirt with white pants, but the rules are very stringent. Again, summer — maybe even late spring — are the only really acceptable times to try an outfit like this.

The pants you choose need to be lightweight, the material should be a bit floaty. However, make sure that the cut is right and that the pants fit you to perfection.

Generally, cotton pants are going to be your best bet. You can even add in a white blazer to keep the motif going, and brightly colored shades will give you just the right amount of kick.

Believe it or not, a pair of shorts can work with a white dress shirt — but only under certain circumstances. In the summer time, you can try this combination for any smart casual events. You will be more comfortable by far, and you will look kind of quirky and cool while still keeping it professional and respectable.

The nice thing about shorts is that are fairly inexpensive. However, when wearing them with your button up, you do not want them to look cheap. Stay away from any shorts that have patterns; a drawstring waist isn’t great, either. Make sure your shorts fit you will — and do not pair them with sneakers. A nice, sleek pair of leather sandals will do the job and complete the look quite well.

Typically, a lot of guys pair their white button up shirts with a solid colored blazer. Guys, that is just a little too solid, so why not take a walk on the wild side?

Barring that, at least take a stroll on the striped side of things. A striped blazer can make you look quite chic — and face it, pinstripes can only make an outfit look ten times better.

Plus, stripes are still considered conservative, so your blazer will be as perfect at the office as it will be after hours.

Navy blue and black work quite well, with stripes in the color of your choice. Grey with white stripes is also an excellent choice.

But hey, if blazers just really are not your think, why not try wearing a funky, patterned hoodie with your white shirt? It will work better than you think it will.

Speaking from personal experience, a lot of girls think the classic white button up on a guy is sexy — if you wear it right. So listen up, my little fashion princes: there are many ways you can dress up this classic, stylish piece, in order to make sure it never gives off any boring vibes.

First of all, a (not so) simple cardigan can draw all the right attention to your to your white shirt. However, be a little daring with it, and choose cardigans with unexpected and surprising colors.

An aubergine/plum kind of shade like the one shown here is both masculine and whimsical, but bright blue shades, forest greens, and even pastels can work for you as well. Remember, if you have a dark complexion, you can get away with even brighter colors.

You think about it – underwear is part of fashion.  I mean, they base a lot of fashion shows around underwear and menswear in the underwear department is no different at all and that is why we are going to talk about aussieBum.  This particular brand of underwear is honestly my favorite part in the world!  Not only is it chic and neat looking, but the underwear itself is honestly comfortable … or so I have heard from my male friends actually.
